From getting a tear filled hug of gratitude that their child was now seizure free, or the email that the brain tumor was gone, or looking into the eyes of a dad so thankful his autistic son was no longer injuring himself and others. From supporting a new product line, to trending #1 on Facebook, or signing the first Realm Cares™ grant check! Thrilling.
Some others moments hit heavy that may seem insignificant to the masses, but meant the world to that family were simple things that their loved one could now do: remembering their mom’s phone number and having more movement in their left hand.
I still say that the thing that has been most impactful for me cannot be narrowed to one single experience. What has been most impactful on me is being given the daily awesome responsibility and gift of leading the most incredible team of talented and dedicated individuals on the planet, and getting to know intimately the families they serve. My staff has embraced more than doubling our size as well as handling more than seven times the volume as when we opened the office at the end of January 2015. Not only have they done that, they have executed with such tenacity and grace. To think that in very beginning of 2015 we were sitting around my kitchen table just blows my mind. I love our Realm families, I love my staff. Being able to improve the quality of lives of our families and my team is my greatest honor. Humbled. Truly.
So, get a cup of coffee and take some time to look through the impact numbers. They are not just statistics. Every one represents a life touched, improved, and occasionally saved. Thank you for being on this journey with us and contributing to our success. Without you it would have been impossible. I am looking forward to an even more amazing 2016.
Will you do me a favor? Will your forward our newsletter to someone you know who you think may benefit from a relationship with us? Or simply share their emails with us and we will reach out to them. Someone who needs our help, or someone who is in a position to help. Thank you.
We care. We care a lot, it’s kind of our thing…
